Joyful moment in art captured!

Why are these people so happy! Ah, this is the happy moment when a piece of Prashant's art is actually SOLD! Prashant is happy, the person who is buying the art is supremely happy and we can only imagine that all of the people who see the art will have their hearts and minds expanded and their hearts gladdened.

Small commercial break to say that one can actually buy Prash's art and that would be great because it would help him pay the bills and also spread his art around the world.

Nudes

Here are a few nudes from a show I had last year in a little piano bar, where I would occassionally sing jazz on wednesday nights. It was lovely to work on the landscape like quality of the human body, and i'm inspired to do a few more soon....larger perhaps.

Watch out for more.

Dhrupad

The dhrupad style of music is one of the oldest forms of music in North India, which is very contemplative and meditative. The maharaja of Benares, patronises the best musicians of this style of music, every year during Mahashivaratri.

Sketchbook Pages AT Pages

If you are in the Queen Street West Area in Toronto, some of Prash's sketchbook pages are on display in the window of Pages Bookstore. Things were hopping this afternoon. Lots going on.

A duo showed up and were playing very fitting world music on Tambura and Digeridoo, just down the street a few steps from the art.

Sunday brunch

Since I've been back, there have been inumerable brunches, dinners and tea parties to catch up with all my friends here in Canada. Such gastronomic undertakings have only enhanced my passion to welcome spring and to usher in the warm weather.
